Intro to Art using Pencil

BEGINNER ART CLASSES AT ST ANDREW’S PARISH HALL

We are delighted to share that, Michele Retschlag, a member of our parish and an accomplished local artist, will be offering her talents to our community through two upcoming beginner art courses to be held at the St Andrew’s Parish Hall, Caloundra.

Michele, who regularly teaches both beginner and intermediate students, brings a wealth of experience and a passion for helping others discover the joy of artistic expression.

The first course will be an Introduction to Art using Pencil, running over seven weeks each Thursday from 4 June to 30 July (excluding school holidays), from 1:00pm to 3:30pm. This series is perfect for those who are new to drawing and would like to build foundational skills in a relaxed and supportive environment.

A second course, Introduction to Watercolour, will follow, running for five weeks each Thursday from 6 August to 3 September, with the same session times.

Each class is $30 per session, with small group sizes of 6 to 8 participants, ensuring plenty of individual guidance and encouragement. (Michele has kindly offered that all class fees will be donated to support the work of our parish).

If you are interested in attending, please complete an expression of interest form available at each church. For further details, you can visit Michele’s website https://www.micheleretschlag.com

or contact Michele directly on 0492 919 264.

Whether you are picking up a pencil for the first time or exploring a new creative outlet, these classes promise to be a rewarding and enjoyable experience for all.
